New contract award: Drafting of the construction project ‘A-4 motorway, expansion of the capacity of the A-4 bypass’.
01-Aug-2024The joint venture formed by Eptisa and Proes has been awarded the contract by the Demarcación de Carreteras de la Comunidad de Madrid (Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility) for the construction project: A-4 dual carriageway, capacity expansion of the A-4 bypass (M-30/M-40 by-pass).
This extension of the dual carriageway is located between the junctions of the M-40 and the M-45, and will be 5.5 km long.
The project is mainly within the municipality of Madrid, with the final section reaching the municipality of Getafe.
The main benefits of this extension are
- Increasing the capacity of the A-4 section in this ‘by-pass’, as this motorway has three lanes before the A-4 junction in Getafe. three lanes before the M-40 junction and will have three again once it passes the M-45 junction. the M-45 junction.
